The Clinic Born from the Arena

It all began inside medical offices and residency programs. Two surgeons passionate about games started noticing a troubling pattern: young patients — competitive gamers — arriving with repetitive strain injuries that general practitioners simply did not know how to treat properly. Ignored tendinitis. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome diagnosed too late. Pain that could have been prevented with the right protocol.

The eSports market was growing exponentially in Brazil, but specialized medicine was simply not keeping up. Competitive athletes who train 8, 10, 12 hours a day did not have access to the same medical support that Olympic athletes receive as standard. That gap was both unfair and unnecessary.

It was in this context that DocSquad emerged: the first medical clinic in Brazil dedicated entirely to the eSports universe. A space where surgical precision meets genuine understanding of gamer culture — because the founders live that culture just as much as their patients.
